What is Flashing?

Flashing is the changing of the phones firmware from one network to that of another, for example: Flashing Over a verizon blackberry or other phone over to pageplus or metroPCS etc. this process is more involved and time comsuming than simply "unlocking" a gsm phone, and so therefore more expensive.

I Have A Verizon Phone- Can I Use it With AT&T Or T-Mobile?

Sorry-the networks are not compatable because at&t & Tmobile both use the GSM system which utilizes a SIM card whereas verizon, sprint, boost unlimited, metropcs and pageplus do not-they use the CDMA system (no sim card)
